Hi I'm Lee, I'm an award winning Lancashire chef with a passion for all things todo with food. From buying to cooking but most of all Eating it.

I started The Handcrafted Pie Company when times where hard during Lockdown. No money was coming in due to being self employed working a freelance chef. Absolutely rock bottom you can feel. Having kids and not being able to provide. 

Armed with a few ingredients I starting making different foods that can be delivered to peoples door steps along side basic supplies that people needed. The elderly people where I grow us. Simply wasn't getting out as freely to shops. 

Making Pies was something I did in previous jobs for my menus. Which became a weekly order locally. 

When lockdown lifted and people returned to work. I found myself still making regular orders of pies working out my regular work. Slowly increasing I started working part time making pies and part time else where. 

Fast forward a few years

2024 has seen me progress in to a purpose made unit capable of making more pies. With the potential to bake 24/7 if the day ever comes. Delivering locally to homes and work places. A wholesale delivery covering the North West. Postage all over The UK.

Being a Finalist for two bussiness awards in Hyndburn.

Winner of Independent Retailer.
